Outreach Workshops

Outreach workshops:

All workshops can be delivered as outreach.

There is the option to just have a presentation on St. Patrick adapted to Key Stages 1-3 lasting 45 minutes or combine it with an activity workshop:

• Scriptorium 45 minutes Key Stage 1-3
• Drama 45 minutes Key Stage 1-2
• Conflict 45 minutes Key Stage 2
• Friendship 45 minutes Key Stage 1
• Identity 60 minutes Key Stage 2
• Stereotypes and Prejudice 60 minutes Key Stage 3

There is a charge for this service:

• St. Patrick workshop £1.50 per pupil
• St. Patrick workshop and activity £2.50 per pupil

The size of the group which can be accommodated depends upon the activity selected.  In general terms the activity workshops have a maximum capacity of one class. To facilitate bigger groups, several sessions can occur during the day e.g. morning and afternoon. 

The presentation on St. Patrick can be delivered to a larger audience depending upon how interactive a session is required to be.

A petrol allowance may be included if the visit requires travel beyond 30 miles of the Centre in Downpatrick.
