Saint Patrick's World
In the first part of the exhibition you are introduced to the Romano-British world where Patrick lived. This is contrasted with the Celtic World, which flourished in 5th century Ireland.

Patrick introduces himself through the words of his 'Confession'.

Captivity
Read the story of Patrick's childhood in Britain and his abduction by the Irish
   
6 Years A Shepherd
The life of a slave in Ireland.

Escape
Patrick escapes and travels from Ireland with sailors.
Sound Cone 3
   
The Journey
Patrick travels with the sailors through a foreign land where they were rescued, with God's help, from starvation. He returns home.

God Before Me
Patrick embarks on his mission to Ireland and is greatly condemned by his peers. He listens to their criticisms and responds.

River of Words
After his death Patrick's 'Confession' became a vitally important text and the Christian message flowed throughout Ireland. Pass over the Time bridge out of 5th Century Ireland.
   

Lives of a Saint
Ancient versions of Patrick's life are depicted by those who wrote about him after his death.
