To help you plan your trip we’ve included some key visitor information including opening hours, directions, prices and facilities below.

OPENING TIMES
All Year: Monday – Saturday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm.
July and August: Sunday 1.00 pm – 5 pm.
Groups – open 7 Days a week by Appointment.

LOCATION
Our iconic building is situated in the heart of the Medieval town of Downpatrick, just 40 minutes south of Belfast City Centre, with easy access to public transport from the Europa Bus Centre every hour.

Located just a short 5-10 minute car journey from George Best Belfast City Airport, and around a 30 minute drive from Belfast International Airport, Titanic Belfast is easily accessible via all major routes.

By Car

The Saint Patrick Centre is located 2 hours north of Dublin. Turn off the M1 at Newry M1 and follow the B8 and A25 through the beautiful Mountains of Mourne. We are just 40 minutes south of Belfast on the A7. There are 100 secure, paid parking spaces available in front of the Saint Patrick Centre. Parking charges are 80p per hour.

By Train

Take the ‘Enterprise’ Train from Dublin or a regular Translink (Northern Ireland) train service to Belfast City Centre. For up-to-date information on timetables please see www.translink.co.uk. Please disembark at Europa Bus Centre and transfer to the Downpatrick Express Service.

By Bus
Catch the Downpatrick Express Service (No. 15) at the Europa Bus Centre in Central Belfast (Great Victoria) behind the Europa Hotel opposite the Crown Bar. See http://journeyplanner.translink.co.uk/ext_webpdf_desk/TTB/EFA01__00001413_TP.pdf. Bus Journey time about 55 minutes.
From Dublin – Busaras, Connolly Street depart on the X1 or X2 to Belfast and change at Newry to the 240 Service. Travel time 3 Hours – Departing every two hours from 8am.
Buses from Downpatrick to Dublin depart every two hours from 7.30am on the 240 Service via Newry where you change onto the X1 or X2 to Dublin. Travel time 3 hours.

By Air

George Best Belfast City Airport is a 40 minute drive from the Saint Patrick Centre on the A7. For full details on airport services and car rentals please see www.belfastcityairport.com.
Belfast International Airport is a 80 minute drive from the Saint Patrick Centre, with a regular bus service running to Belfast City Centre – Airport Express 300/300A. Onward travel to the Saint Patrick Centre is via bus routes detailed above. Taxi and car hire services are also available at Belfast International Airport, for full details please see www.belfastairport.com.
Dublin Airport is a 2 hour drive from the Saint Patrick Centre, with a regular bus service (see above) and car hire available from partners such as Budget Car Hire – for details please see www.budget.ie.

FACILITIES
ATM Cash Machine
An ATM cash machine is situated at Santander Bank on Saint Patrick’s Square in front of the Saint Patrick Centre. It welcomes all ‘Link’ cards and Maestro, Mastercard, Cirrus, Visa, Plus and VPay cards.

Free Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the building.

Car Parking
There are two public car parks beside the centre.

Coach Parking
A coach drop off point and parking is available for all pre-booked groups. Group Bookings will soon be available online until then please call us for more information.

Restaurants
Choose from a wide range of hearty menu options in the Garden Cafe including speciality teas, sandwiches and delicacies.

Craft Shop
Our Craft Shop is the best in Northern Ireland and offers an exclusive range of clothing, gifts and unique memorabilia.
