‘Saint Patrick and the American Connection’ Professor Mike Cronin from Boston College

The Saint Patrick Centre will continue its Lecture Series about the Life and Legacy of Saint Patrick on Thursday 16th of May by hosting

Professor Mike Cronin from Boston College

Professor Cronin has been the Academic Director of Boston College Ireland since 2005 and has published widely on many aspects of Irish history. He is a regular media commentator on sporting history and between 2008 and 2012 developed the GAA Oral history Project.

Professor Cronin’s interest in Saint Patrick began with his publication ‘The Wearing of the Green – A History of Saint Patrick’s Day’ for Routledge Press in 2002.

His talk will be on ‘Saint Patrick and the American Connection’ at 7.30pm on Thursday 16th May at the Saint Patrick Centre. Admission free.
