The Saint Patrick Centre’s new Garden Cafe is one of the best places to eat when visiting Northern Ireland.
The Cafe serves freshly prepared homemade breakfasts and lunch from its hot and cold counters, as well as our own-brand freshly blended coffee. Eat indoors and enjoy the stunning surroundings and views of the garden or outside on the terrace. Alternatively have lunch on the picnic benches in our gardens and enjoy the beauty of the flowers and the view of the Cathedral.
The Saint Patrick Centre Terraced Gardens are filled with beautiful flower beds and terraces of box hedging leading to a wisteria pergola and views of the medieval Cathedral of Down and the Southwell School Buildings, which date from 1733. Explore our Peace Garden and Monk’s Herb Garden, discover the Fairy Thorn Tree and our Standing Stone and enjoy the extensive Rose Gardens.
